Raced a Toyota Tundra TRDDetroitMuscle15 01-28-2005, 11:22 PM I left my friend kyles house a few hours ago and i didnt feel like immediatly going home...I took a drive down to the strip called DW highway which runs through my towns so called business sector......Its a long stretch about 4-8 miles long and thats where most of Nashuas fine young and unexperienced drivers go to chill...and shit,I was just crusing and i hit a stoplight near the Volvo dealership(lovering Volvo BTW)..I pulled up beside this White Toyota Tundra with the usual TRD Offroad decals...The interior from what i saw had neon blue lights in the interior..looked kinda sharp..I noticed the driver kept looking at me constantly as he was waiting for the light to turn green..I wasnt sure if he wanted to go so i took off slowly and and i then floored it sending me past the Tundra...I made sure to give them an evil grin as i drove by and we hit another stoplight...I eagerly waited for the Tundra to pull up and the two occupants of the truck were smiling and laughing while revving thier engine..Wasnt sure if the Tundra was the SR5 V6 model but it did have some grunt..This timee i was prepared to launch and when the light turned green...HIs 4-wheel drive got the bettr launch as my tires just kept spinning but i caught up and passed the mofo about 3-6 seconds later......We raced for about 1/8 of a mile until we made a left turn and i justr kept going straight Pat Notes: Beat a Tundra in the 2nd round Realized i need to get some better tires I love your mom -The Stig- 01-28-2005, 11:34 PM I love your mom Too bad she hates you. TerminalVelocity 01-28-2005, 11:36 PM I love your mom She says if you love big women and flesh that feels like a waterbed your on! :boink: dampachi 01-28-2005, 11:37 PM Wow, V6 mustangs can spin their tires? -The Stig- 01-28-2005, 11:44 PM Wow, V6 mustangs can spin their tires? Only in reverse, and when it's wet out. DetroitMuscle15 01-28-2005, 11:47 PM oh yes its not that hard......the 215 foot/lbs of torque definitly go to work...In my case i just simply mat the gas pedal or if i really want to leave a patch i just do a brake stand Dampachi i sense a strong feeling of animosity between us...Please undertand that iam only human and we all make mistakes....Ive grown over that period and it really displeases me when in every post i type up..you always got some shit to say to me....Sorry i couldnt afford a 10,000 car right when i got my licence..some people have to make do with what they have..Iam just fortunate i got a nice car even though its not the top-of the line V8 model....I mean i dont know many people who are lucky enough to have a nice car like mine at my age unless thier parents got it for them sooo please put aside your little tiff with me and lets all just have fun ok???? i3o2Matt 01-28-2005, 11:52 PM I have an 89 Maxima that i paid 1G for that'll outrun ur mustang...:-P ...AND its pushin 200K mi! DetroitMuscle15 01-28-2005, 11:59 PM I want a GT.........soon my son soon AlienEvolution 01-29-2005, 12:09 AM if he was in 4wd then he's a moron and thats why he lost. But if it was the V8 it still would have raped you. hard. either way, you DONT race in a 50-50 4wd truck.... -.- *sigh* dampachi 01-29-2005, 12:16 AM It's because you clutter up my beloved mustang forum with your bullshit lies and I don't like it. But really..I don't have anything against you. It's all in fun! silentscreams85 01-29-2005, 03:35 AM kinda hard to believe...hmm besides my tc, i have a 00 tundra w/ trd dual exhaust. it sounds clean and its one decently quick (for a truck) ride. its more than enough to take most of the ricers out there that think because its a truck its slow...i know for certain its faster than a mid 90s v6 stang...but whatever >< ricesucks 01-29-2005, 07:45 AM I seriously did not think a V6 stang could do that! lol! He was prolly laughing at your pethicly slow car....He just took off normal..and I think he thaught you did too. The only good thing about V6 stangs are people want to race you (They know there slow) I would love to have one that hauled ass because everyone KNOWS (Not thinks) they they suck... RACER D12 01-29-2005, 09:30 AM Damn is the V6 Mustang really that bad? I can think of a lot of cars that are worse that people on here drive... give the kid a break. ricesucks 01-29-2005, 10:27 AM FYI v6 mustangs would get outran by just about anything -Jayson- 01-29-2005, 10:29 AM does DetroitMuscle=BurntRice? -Josh- 01-29-2005, 10:56 AM does DetroitMuscle=BurntRice? Yeah, from now on i'm boycotting the street racing forum for as long as he's posting to. youngvr4 01-29-2005, 01:13 PM yes he's burntrice, and v6 mustangs can actually easily burn rubber. my buddy has a 99 v6 stang and its not as slow as some of you are making it seem. i think i posted before that the mustang v6 ran a 15.5 thats not slower than everything on the street. silentscreams85 01-29-2005, 01:30 PM yes he's burntrice, and v6 mustangs can actually easily burn rubber. my buddy has a 99 v6 stang and its not as slow as some of you are making it seem. i think i posted before that the mustang v6 ran a 15.5 thats not slower than everything on the street. 1999 Mustang V6 (convertible, couldnt find coupe stats) 0-60: 8.6 secs 1/4 mile: 16.5 secs was it stock dampachi 01-29-2005, 02:41 PM The convertible weighs more...so let's just say around 16.3. 2of9 01-29-2005, 04:48 PM Dude, just yesterday as i was driving in with my bro in my dad's Tundra V8, we raced a Stang on the highway and killed it. Im for sure it was a race cuz me, i was on the rite side lane and he and his buddy on the left. This was a 2-way lane, from a stop. The Stang started revving it, i revved it. Next thing i know, i could hear it nicely, the stang got me on the luanch but in the long run, around 3-5 seconds i came back. We kept going until 100, and 100 for me is much a thrill. The Stang was a GT model...i think 97+, but i dont care, i KILLED it tho! hahahahahha! emokid15 01-29-2005, 05:21 PM my friend knows a guy that has a Supercharger on a V6 he said it put outs like 330 hp lol. man thast a waste of money. but if he likes what he has then i respect him. You stoped on the highway? :sly: dampachi 01-29-2005, 10:13 PM SilverGTR...I call bullshit..and emokid15..330hp on a V6 is double it's horsepower. You think that's a waste of money? Not to mention a 99+ GT with a kenne bell 9psi kit puts out around 355rwhp-400rwhp. So it's not that bad. street_racer_00 01-29-2005, 10:19 PM You stoped on the highway? :sly: HAHAHAHAH shit...I didn't catch that...good call  DetroitMuscle15 01-30-2005, 12:28 AM ATI Procharger sells a H.O Supercharger kit that has 12 psi and an 80% HP gain for V6 Mustangs 150X .80=120HP gain 150+120=270HP....with the addition of the usual bolt ons(Intake,Headers,Exhaust,Chip,UD pullies)you will be easily over 300HP and you can kill stock and lightly modded GT's and 5.0's,Can someone say sleeper??? Mr. Luos 01-30-2005, 12:31 AM The convertible weighs more...so let's just say around 16.3. My Grand Am is supposed to be faster. :icon16: dampachi 01-30-2005, 01:27 AM detroitmuscle once again your stupidity amazes me. Number one...good luck adding a cold air intake on a motor with a supercharger. Second. You definitely wouldn't want to be under driving anything on a blown motor. Third, after putting $8,000 into a V6..you would indeed just barely beat a GT mustang. But you'd still be getting raped by LS1s. :)Oh...and can someone say sleeper? Shit...can someone say waste of fucking time/money? I can. CivRacer95 01-30-2005, 11:01 AM detroitmuscle once again your stupidity amazes me. BP2K2Max 01-30-2005, 11:22 AM ATI Procharger sells a H.O Supercharger kit that has 12 psi and an 80% HP gain for V6 Mustangs 150X .80=120HP gain 150+120=270HP....with the addition of the usual bolt ons(Intake,Headers,Exhaust,Chip,UD pullies)you will be easily over 300HP and you can kill stock and lightly modded GT's and 5.0's,Can someone say sleeper??? wow, you have to spend like $3-$4000 dollars just to get the mustangs V6 to come even close to the N/A HP of a Honda V6(240hp 3.0L V6 accord) or Nissan V6 (265 hp 3.5L v6 Maxima). that sucks emokid15 01-30-2005, 11:55 AM Yeah it does. But if they like what they have then i respect it. AlienEvolution 01-30-2005, 01:31 PM on 2 lane 55mph highways... well at least out here, there are occasional lights.... dampachi 01-30-2005, 03:53 PM That's true, BP2K. But the thing is the mustang V6 isn't trying to be powerful..it's trying to be economical with a little bit a cruising power. Whereas those Nissan/Honda motors are trying. And what kind of torque do those two motors put out? DetroitMuscle15 01-30-2005, 04:23 PM wtf/..why cant you put a cold air intake ito a supercharged 3.8L???..soo basicallly your telling me you have to run a blower with the stock air intake???.....please enlighten me Dampachi.... And you cant install UD pullies oN a supercharged engine.....this is news for me dampachi 01-30-2005, 04:36 PM http://gatesman.dyndns.org/engine.jpg http://users.net66.com/~sckiddoo/mustang3.jpg http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/images/nashville/dallas2.jpg Point to any 'stock' air intake you found. As you can see, the piping for the supercharger connects directly to the throttle body/intake plenum..which is where you'd normally find your intake. dampachi 01-30-2005, 04:48 PM Oh, and you CAN install UD pullies on a supercharged motor..but um..it's not going to last too long. :) CivRacer95 01-30-2005, 05:36 PM Dampachi you are just all over Burnt. I love moments like these, cause I get to use this: http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/232382ownedb.JPG Late... dampachi 01-30-2005, 05:47 PM Yeah, I'm not about to let up on that kid. He gets wayyy too much leniancy and continues to talk wayyy too much shit. So anytime I see him acting like he knows something I have to knock him back down to his level. Not to mention I'm ashamed that he's a fellow mustang owner. Oh well. Atleast he just has a V6. V6 owners and V8 owners are in two different leagues. DetroitMuscle15 01-30-2005, 08:34 PM Dampachi ya need to chill there buddy..Iam fortunate that i still have posting privelidges and it has been a long time since ive "talked shit".....Iam relativly new to the car tuning scence soo dont bitch at me because i got a few things wrong......id appreciate it if you please take it easy on me ok??? a CivRacer95 01-30-2005, 08:55 PM Just a little advice Burnt, DON'T GO TALKING ABOUT THINGS YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT! It's now wonder Dampachi got after you. wtf/..why cant you put a cold air intake ito a supercharged 3.8L???..soo basicallly your telling me you have to run a blower with the stock air intake???.....please enlighten me Dampachi.... And you cant install UD pullies oN a supercharged engine.....this is news for me Can you see what I mean? Alright then. And Dampachi seriously, your a little on the offensive side. Take it down a notch or two. I've never had any problems with you myself. But there have been a few threads were you got a little offensive towards others for a minor mistake in wording or a little exagerration in someones story. This thread needs to be closed, because it's just going to go on like this like all of Burnt's other threads do. Late... dampachi 01-30-2005, 09:13 PM That's the thing. You go around acting like you're a very experienced tuner/racer. And then you try to play the "oh I'm new to this" card everytime you're wrong. You talk shit in every thread. I know I don't need to start linking to the Mustang forum where you talk about your GT mustang because that would just be stupid. And you 'got a few things wrong'?When do you ever have anything right? And civracer95...I'll try to take it down a notch. but just one. CivRacer95 01-30-2005, 09:18 PM Thank you Dampachi, I greatly appreciate that  . Late.. dampachi 01-30-2005, 09:20 PM You're welcome. You asked me with respect, so I'm giving you respect back. -The Stig- 01-30-2005, 09:33 PM Well, we're done here. Thanks for playing. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
