I am sure everyone will benefit from this post. I am running the first tank of gas through my 94 PF and am a little concerned as I have drove 136 km and burned half a tank according the the gas guage. I hope the bottom half of the tank does better.

So for comparison purposes please post your year and model and the milage you get out of a tank of gas.

This shall be interesting.

are we doing milage or kilometerage (VBG)? I can go about 230-250 miles on 17-18 gallons (at best) in my '97 SE. 90% of my driving is in town, my highway milage is much better but I've never had to burn a whole tank on the highway so I don't know how far 17 gallons would go in that case.

i have a 96, and if i drive VERY conservative i can get around 300 maybe a little more on about 17-18 gallons. i have a 20 gallon tank and havent tested its full potential.

I only got 200 miles on about 18 gallons. My check engine light was on and I have since replaced the O2 sensor (engine lot is gone). I will repost and see what kind on milage I get on the second round.

How big is the tank on a 94 PF XE?

which O2 sensor did you replace...cause just recently my light came on and i got it checked...it is said to be the O2 sensor #2on the right just behind the passenger seat...i have yet to find it...at least thats where the guys at auto zone told me it would be. you have any idea?

Should be located on the passenger side exhaust pipe just behind the catylitic converter.

As far as the mileage: '01 Path SE 3.5 4x4 14-17 around town, 18-23 highway

I have a 1997 Pathfinder SE 4x4 with 140K miles and I get about 15 in the city and I remember getting 17 once on a road trip. My gas milage has been the same since I bought the SUV. I have change filters, 02 sensors, fuel filters, tried different fuel grades, NOTHING HELPS. I suppose I could actually drive the speed limit and this might help some but who knows. I get 15 MPG.

I have a 2002 Pathfinder LE (4x4/3.5L) with 60k on it. We use regular gas (87 octane) and it gets 17.5 mpg on mixed city/highway driving. It actually got better over the last 40k. It used to average only 14.5-16.5 mpg in mixed driving when we first got the car and we were using 93 octane gas back then.

I have a 99 that has recently had a drop in milage, but I can't find a problem. Seems to run ok,just seems like the milage has dropped. TomF

For a 94, the gas tank holds 21.1 gallons. Stock MPG's should be 15 city/18 highway.

Mine gets about 10-12 on good days. *sigh*

Hi,

I currently own a 1996 Terrano Diesel (TD27-Turbo) engine and my problem is I only get 5.5 Kilometers per liter of my diesel. The tire size is 265 X 70 R 15. My injection pump was calibrated and engine was checked by Nissan and was told it is in top condition. My only problem is the mileage if there is any possibility to enhance my engine to lessen my diesel consumption and increase my mileage. Thanks guys.

'94 Pathfinder..........mostly highway driving at 100 kph. Logged data over 5000 km. Mpg = 23.5. The mileage goes for a crap if you ask this thing to pull a trailer with any kind of weight on it. Truck feels underpowered most of the time but engine runs well after 220,000 km.
