Cargo area carpet spillkriklwa 01-28-2005, 05:38 PM We spilled a full thermos full of hot chocolate (yes, made with milk) in the rear cargo area. Pulled the 3rd row seats to clean the carpet and found that a lot of it went through the long oval holes in the carpet where the seats bolt down, soaking into the insulation beneath the carpet. It's impossible to effectively reach under there through narrow oval holes. As the sour milk smell is starting to set in, I'm tempted to just cut the carpet out of the cargo area. But before doing any cutting on our relatively new van, thought I'd see if anybody has a better suggestion. Problem is that you have to remove a lot of internal side paneling to pull the carpet up the right way. And those panels are not at all user friendly for removal from what I can tell. Anybody? Many thanks. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
