alright so i just bought a 95 jeep cherokee sport 7 days ago and it was running fine all week- then yesterday i got gas and it started stalling at red lights - only when i slowed down, i got it back to my house and today it wouldent start at all even with my other jeep jumping it- i brought it to autozone and the guy said there was just water in my gas thanks to cumberland farms, its like -2 degrees out in massachussets and i think my fuel lines are frozen. i put 2 cans on heet in it and a full tank of super gas and it still wont start, i got it to start once today and kept it running for like 30 sec with the gas on, and when i let go of the gas and it kinda died when the rpms dropped. what should i do?.........well thats a couple grand down the tubes............

If by "dry gas" you mean methyl hydrate, How much have you added (ounces??)..

Once the water freezes in the lines it takes a bit to thaw them and absorb the water 10 to 12 oz of injector compatible gasline antifreeze with a full tank of gas should be enough to get things going if thats all that it is.

It wouldn't hurt to change the fuel filter at this time either.

Try starting and running the engine. Keep the revs up enough to keep it going for "a while" to see if it will clear itself out. If not, it may have fouled some of the injectors.

After all this, I would add some fuel injector conditioner to the next tank of fuel as well.

Hopefully this helps out.....

thanks but i think i figured out whats really wrong. the ignition coil was cracked in half because of the cold. that would explain why it wont start im gonna put it in tonight and see what happens

yeah so that was it. replaced the spark plugs and connected the ignition coil wire witch was actually disconected and now my jeep starts first try and runs better than it ever did. awsome.
