Chk eng lite came on. Ran code and got 28. It seems this is a rare code but others have gotten this code. Only listing of codes from AutoZone are for 27 then 31 but no 28. Anybody know about this code and or where to get listings. Thus far only 1 person guesses its possible (O2 Sensor@Coverter) stating its proably a special California code seeing I from CALIF. One of the sensors is faulty on the manifold. Do you have a 4 cylinder or V6? All you gotta do is replace the sensor, small problem. Nothing too serious.

92 V6 Camry. and thanks. I hate to say it, I have just recently got conflicting info. I was told that i might have three o2 sensers and that code 28 is an 02 sensor on cat convertr. Just getting confused now. Also told to chk ecm but I don't know what ECM is or where. I'll be working on car tommorrow to see what i can find. Thanks
