rims or suspension?.Shobo 03-13-2002, 09:36 PM Im thinking of either getting rims for my p11 or get the tein suspesion. Which one would u guyz go for. I Don't want to spend like 2g for rims and suspension, so Im just gonna go for one. Seneb 03-13-2002, 09:43 PM go for suspension. that will make your driving much more enjoyable! NismoG20 03-13-2002, 10:29 PM rims rims rims rims rims rims rims can make or break a car! b-b00gie 03-13-2002, 11:02 PM JIC JIC JIC JIC :frog: TRBOBRK 03-13-2002, 11:04 PM Go for suspension. The wheel gap will look ugly if you get new rims without lowering. CiViCtoG20 03-14-2002, 05:15 PM Just like my man TRBOBRK said. If you get rims first, the wheel gap will look kinda nasty. Get the springs/coilovers or whatever first so the rims will have a nice wheel tuck and no BIG gap between the tire and wheel welt. peace :sun: G20TurboVisionCrew 03-14-2002, 05:47 PM CUTT YOUR SPRINGS AND GET SOME RIMS!!! Nah, jus playin'... I think the suspension would be the best bet for the first choice... Yea, rims make or break the car, but so does a car w/ rims that look like a truck!!! :hehe: atomic-G 03-14-2002, 07:16 PM I put on rims before I lowered my car and it looked like the car was on it's tippy toes :). If you are more into cosmectics, then go for the rims - they will definitely make your ride stand out. AznVirus 03-14-2002, 07:39 PM suspension, then rims :D bump909 03-15-2002, 10:27 AM a good suspension setup will transform your P11 from a good handling sedan into a great one. You'll benefit from a bigger wheel after you modify your suspension. Just get some Kuhmos on the stock rims for now. :D Shobo 03-15-2002, 03:20 PM thx for the advice. wickedG20 03-16-2002, 04:51 PM Rims, then suspension. When you put on your rims, you will decide if you need to lower your car or not, how much of a drop you want if you do decide to lower it, etc. etc. etc. If you go suspension first, you would have a hard time figuring out which rims would best blend in with the drop. on top of all that, your rims would be noticed more than your drop. TIZAO 03-17-2002, 10:04 PM Man dont listen to wicked he dont know what hes talking about! LOL just kidding.....but I would go suspension then rims! Thats what I am doin! And I had rims before, (before I f-ed them uP!) but it didnt look too good with that fat gap in it.....looked like somethin was missin!:alien: :bloated: :licker: :smoka: :flash: Nismoboy1 03-17-2002, 11:29 PM i say rims, 17's look fine without a drop as long as you get a 215/45 rated tire, even 18's can look alright w/o a drop as long as you get a 215/40 rated tire...plus with a smaller sidewall, it already makes your car handle a hundred times better, even without a suspension setup. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
