Hi, is it possible to turbo or even twin turbo a non turbo 300zx without massive modding? My friend just got a non turbo and he doesnt know, so I thought I would be nice and ask here.
Thanks!

You COULD...but it's better to do a TT swap.

yeah, let me make it simple so you dont have masses amounts of reading to do.

if you TT your n/a you can boost maybe 5 or 6 psi, either way its a very low boost. nice to do if you only want a little extra power but there is a lot of worked involved to turbo the N/A motor...like engine pulling and all that good stuff.

most people would rather swap in the TT drivetrain instead of goign trhough all that work for a few psi...they go through all that work for alot of power, proven power.

if you have any specifics, ask away...

have to agree.... cars are not the most reliable...

why did it take the DSM 2 hours to get going 60mph? because it broke at 34 and had to wait for a tow truck!

lol, i dont hate them though, they look awsome and they are fast when they run...

ehh...they arent that bad. i would trust them before i used pontiac...

i bet if they are well taken care of they are just as good as other cars. for some reason, idiotic pre-18 year olds kids end up with alot of DSM cars, causing them to be abused and not taken care of. i know a kid with a GS-T that blew his motor 3 times before he figured out that your fluids need checked more than your yearly tune-up...and oil needs changed ever 3000 miles or when needed, and not once a year. well, he obviously learned the hard way. f***ing moron!!!

I have to make a correction here. You can safely run 7# boost on a N/A engine. Now thats a 50% increase in power. Now 50% of 222HP is 111HP, 111+222=333HP. Now I wouldn't say that was to bad considering there's other things you can do, like exhaust, computer ect. ect.
