Yesterday, i'm leaving 711 (nacho's yum) and doing 35..in the 35. This silver Acura RSX behind me, flashes his brights... He changes lanes, and is to my left... I look at him..couldn't see squat, he must have had limo tints. :sly:

Anyway, he does that type of "come race me" thing with his car (accelerating..slowing to me..accelerating..slowing to me etc).. So, i give him a hand jesture to say pass me, i aint racing. :nono:

This dude takes off..had to hit like 65 in the 35... I'm saying to myself, this dudes gonna get wrecked.. :lol:

THE only reason why i didn't play cat and mouse, is cause of the weather. 2 days ago, it snowed 20 inches, and there is ALOT of black ice on the road, along with slush patches on the main road...this dude was nuts to be driving a car that nice (it was hott) that fast in shitty weather. :rolleyes:

PS, i think my straightpipes must have set this dude off, behind my car...at 1800 rpms=your deaf.. :rofl:

1995 4.6 thunderbird. Oh, btw, i would have been killed.... I think. On a roll, say 30/35mph, who do you think would have taken it..? My 4.6 v8 or his probably stock 4 banger..? :naughty:

BTW, now that i think about it, his FWD is ALOT better in snow/wet pavement...

still he shouldnt be driving that fast. A rsx type s can do some damage.. what do you have done to the t bird?

Yeah, the Type S will run mid/high 14's if I'm not mistaken. Still, that's not good enough for a car that costs more than an SRT-4. People around here don't slow down either. They'll learn their lesson though.

It seems like once the road is a slight bit wet, and I can't get traction...all these FWD/AWD cars come out of nowhere trying to challenge me. About a week ago we had some light snow..and they put salt down and so it was just salt everywhere. I was sitting at a light an integra type-r pulled up. He revved it up, I told my self I wasn't going to race..light turned green we both took off kind of slow..he paced me, then floored it..so I floored it too..started spinning my tires, shifted second, fish tailed some..then decided to let off. So he just kept going. but, we were tied even though I was spinning..I wish I'd see him on a nice clear day. But yeah...I'd say he's crazy for trying to race on a wet/icey road.

Yeah there fast. but yeah u did good no racing in bad weather. u could lost control or him and hit u or something bad happend.

I dont think the type S is a 14 second car...But they are fast...If it was dry, and he sucked at driving stick you could have won, or if it was an auto...I dont race in the snow, its totaly stupid. I race my 1991 suburban in the snow..I race squierels I drive so slow in that...

my friend and i went to a movie in his 96 GT stang and it snowed while we were in there, well, when we came out it was ICE. we go more than 10mph and start to fishtail. the GT is a std. tranny too and he sucked at driving it at the time... SCARY!

No such thing as a 96 Camaro SS. 97 was first year for SLP Super Sport option. Might as well just get a 98 SS though...LS1>LT1. 98 was first year for LS1 engine.

And, I think the RSX would have been dead even, or faster then you. RSX's on average are 15 second cars, and V8 Thunderbirds are 16 sec. cars.

Good idea not racing...I was going hella fast on the highway last night (130 in a 70...eeep) but I dont condone other people doing, ESPECIALLY in bad weather. Good call nto racing. But yeah, those Type S RSXs can seriously move.

The guy who owned my car before me ran 15.5 and 15.420 in the 1/4.. I would post the proof...but i don't have a scanner. My car is stock, except for removed air silencer and straighpipes. He ran the car stock also.

Yeah but he can pick up an lt1 for peanuts and do a few quick mods to make up the 20 hp diff of an ls1. Ls1 cars are still getting good coin. U can get a lt1 with no problems at all for 5 grand. Yeah well maybe it needs new paint and has some miles on it.
