Ukrainian 01-31-2005, 06:06 PM Yo! i have a same car,the only difference is that mine is black. I currently have 195/60/R14........but I want to get mnyself something bigger! As I see u had 205/40/R17......how was it on ur civic???? did u have any problems with them? p.s: what about turns,u turns, bumps and stuff like that????? Ukrainian 01-31-2005, 06:07 PM p.s: is ur civic lowered? mango1 02-01-2005, 12:27 AM do you want wider or taller cause both mean bigger. 205 is width and 40 is sidewall for a smother ride a 45 50 seires would help absorb some of the bumps but a 215 would help in cornering unless it rubbing the fender and it will if the car is lowered CivicSiRacer 02-01-2005, 09:36 AM i have 205/40/17 right now and its time for new tires, i want somthin a little bigger so... i was thinkin about 215/50/17. it should work i just wanna make sure if anyone had them they didnt have any problems with that size.. thanks If you have a Civic 215/50x17" will not fit and your speedo and odometer will be off too. The right size is 205/40x17". If you want something bigger due to the ride quality I would downsize to 16x7" with 205/45x16". vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
