2002 1500 SERIES QUAD CAB 4x4. I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE ELSE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. WHEN I'M DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD I CAN SMELL AN EXHAUST ODOR FROM PASSING TRUCKS.

You mean the smell of semis as they pass? Or the smell of diesel pickups as they pass?

If I sit behind a semi for awhile in my '04, I'll start to smell diesel exhaust too. I turn off the climate control or put it on recirculation mode.

Try driving for awhile with the climate control off and windows closed; if you still get a smell then there's a seal leak somewhere; but if you get no smell then it's being pulled in by the fan. I think since trucks pull their air from a couple feet higher than cars they're more likely to get some of the smell in there....

Some things just smell. Drive past a hog barn, or a pulp mill. I don't care how sealed your vehicle is, you're gonna smell something, I guarantee it.
