What noise are you hearing? jersey crabber 01-30-2005, 12:55 AM What year? What noise are you hearing? 2002 1500 SERIES QUAD CAB 4x4. I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE ELSE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. WHEN I'M DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD I CAN SMELL AN EXHAUST ODOR FROM PASSING TRUCKS. BleedDodge 01-30-2005, 01:09 AM You mean the smell of semis as they pass? Or the smell of diesel pickups as they pass? fredjacksonsan 01-31-2005, 09:20 AM If I sit behind a semi for awhile in my '04, I'll start to smell diesel exhaust too. I turn off the climate control or put it on recirculation mode. Try driving for awhile with the climate control off and windows closed; if you still get a smell then there's a seal leak somewhere; but if you get no smell then it's being pulled in by the fan. I think since trucks pull their air from a couple feet higher than cars they're more likely to get some of the smell in there.... BleedDodge 02-01-2005, 01:35 AM Some things just smell. Drive past a hog barn, or a pulp mill. I don't care how sealed your vehicle is, you're gonna smell something, I guarantee it. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
