'89 Blazer Heater Hoses

Hello,

I need to know if the hose from the engine goes to the bottom of the heater core and the one from the radiator goes to the top. I disremember.

Aren't they different sizes? they are on my 85 so you can't mess them up., although both my hoses go to the 2.8L engine.

They are the same size.

Some hilljack owned the Blazer before I did. I've been spending the better part of a year fixing his mistakes.

I do know I need to backflush the core as well. It's plugged but only partially.

I'm a tech (independent) but some of these little things just boggle the mind.

sorry, I'll tell you what. I'll look at mine tomorrow, if I think of it, and see which hose goes to the top of the engine. I would imagine that that would be the same, but I can't promise. Like I might have stated I have an 85, with a 2.8L so they are a little different

your heater core hoses are the only ones that run into the firewall. find them and track them to the other end.
on my 91 4.3 the inlet is from water pump and i cant remember where the outlet goes. i think it goes into thblock, not possitive.
