i just saw a post about how to change an alternator and i saw that some people said that they got a life time warranty on it where can i get my hands on something like that. The only thing they offer me so far is one year and one just said that they will only offer 90 days etc etc. so where can i buy one alternator with life time. I live in NYC so if there is some website please help.

Get off your bum and shop... plain and simple. I'm sure the East coast is no different than the West when it comes to major automotive parts super store chains. Shop around. I bought mine at AUTOZONE...

The East coast is WAY different than the west when it comes to that.... they have no sow chains and shovels in AZ but they have them here.... and you dont have to know a second language to ask for parts here. Well I dont count redneck as a second language.
