Hey all,
I have a 1996 JGC Laredo V8 and I went to use the hood release latch and 'bam' it popped off, now I can't seem to get the thing to work and to open? Any ideas as to how make it work, if I need to get another part, how much this will run to fix? Also, what is this part actually called?

Do you mean the latch on the inside of the dash or the under hood latch? If the dash latch is broken you might be able to get a pair of vise grip pliers and pull on the cable to open it. Ive had to do this before with broken release levers.
