I bought a 1993 Camry that had been in an accident and I installed new sheet metal on the front. The air bag had deployed. I purchased a 1996 model column and steering wheel from a salvage. They said the 1992-1996 are the same. I know I will need to disconnect the battery first. Is there any danger of me accidently doing something to make the airbag deploy? Since the previous one deployed is there a sensor that could make it deploy when I hook things up or does it need replaced? I'm assuming I can just install it and hook the connections togther without any problems but I want to do this safely. Any help, procedures or precautions will be appreciated.
