ok question, why do people run away from love?

backgorund:
been talking to and messing around with this girl for a good while, now we were never offical "boy friend, girl friend" but it was inderstood, she breaks up with her x for me, and thats how things started, so couple months into it she gets afraid, and pulls aways, and slowly and slowly pulls away more and more, at times she would show that she wants me and then others times she doesnt care, and untop of it all she still talk to her x,

so we just had a long talk its 2:04 am in nyc, and i told her im done with her, im not gona wait around for something that is not there, i told her she cant have her cake and eat it to, she cannot have her x and then have me when she wants me, its all or nuthing,so she telling me how she comfortable around him and shit, and she was like in ur defence i didnt give you enough time to get that close with you..

then i ask her why is it that you keep pulling away form me when you get close to me, and her reply is what shocked me, "becasue im falling in love with you" :eek7: wtf why do you pull away form some one you are falling in love with. wtf? :mad: :eek7: :mad: :sly: :eek7: :sly:

so i told her im done im not wating anymore, im still your friend but i done with you in the other way, im not gona be the guy on the side, she cryes as usuall, if i can do one thing its make her cry, and that sucks but at the same time i can make her laught a min later and make her feel great..

im really gona miss this one, i really liked her, and the way things usted to be with us, it sucks that she donest see a great thing when its right there infront her eyes... damm i cant even go drive to get my mind off of things, damm snow, no boost for me, maybe its best that way..

How old is she?
My guess would be that she's afraid of commitment yet, and doesn't really want to fall in love.
If that's the case I kinda understand where she's coming from.

And on a side note, can't she still be friends with her x?

Oh well, sounds like she was just a confused girl, never really knew how to express love really.

I run away from love because I'm shy. Never had experience before.

She might be afraid of committment...like previously stated. Tina doesn't like to commit. I mean she's really dependable and stuff but she wont commit to a guy cause she's been hurt. You gotta take that into account. Maybe there's an underlying problem too. I mean with me...I have a lot of problems and issues that I don't like to dump on others so that's my underlying problem. Odds are, if she's truely falling in love with you, #1 she'd stop pulling away so much and #2 her spending so much time with the x wouldnt be happening....I could be wrong, very wrong, as I usually am but this is my opinion, take it as you'd like.

It's best not to look for love. It's one of those things that finds you.



And on a side note, it's not a "bad" thing if she is JUST friends with ex's. I am friends with many of my ex's and nothing more. It's nice to have friends that know me and whom I know very well.

I had almost the same thing happen to me, we were dating for a little over a month. One week she told me she couldn't see why we wouldn't become a very close couple, and a week later... "I just dont feel anything." Ok, i didn't do anything different, i'll never understand women. You just get over it and move on, even though it really sucks.
