Stereo wiring

Just removed an old head unit from my friend's 1996 Tacoma. Like an idiot I didn't remove the negative battery cable from the battery. On the stereo wiring harness I touched the black ground lead and one of the 12V + power leads (the ignition switch was in the on position so both the red and yellow leads were hot). I checked in the fuse panel and the 7.5 amp fuse was blown. I removed the negative battery cable and replaced the fuse, then hooked the new stereo up. When I put the battery cable back on, and put the ignition switch to the on position the new stereo would not turn on. The interior light isn't working either and it definitly was before I started the job.
My question is: are there any other fuse locations in the Tacoma? Are the stereo and the interior light even on the same circuit or are those two totally unrelated problems? Also does anyone know where I could find a wiring diagram for this car? Any help is most appreciated.
