1989 mazda rx-7 vs. 1991 toyota mr2Mr.Molasses 01-22-2005, 07:36 PM well lets see what ya got ricesucks 01-22-2005, 09:41 PM MR2 a turbo or not? Regaurdless, I would take the MR2. I love mid engine, they have endless tuning ablily, and I would trust them a bunch more then a rotary. I think older rotarys start to...(For lack of better word) suck. They all mostly run bad, and are really not that fast. I don't know about the potental about the rx7. So I would take the mr2 NISSANSPDR 01-23-2005, 01:39 AM MR2 Turbo...stronger motor and more reliable... Fast Shot 01-23-2005, 08:38 AM I love the MR2 Turbo .. It has good handling and acceleration for it's class .. The weight of the car is very good , so it turns fast .. Mr.Molasses 01-23-2005, 01:46 PM well the mr2 is naturally aspirated but its still pretty fast. and after i took a few corners in it i had to change my shorts(in a good way!) the rotary is so simple and its very forgive to high revs. its also got a 50/50 weight distribution that makes it less likely to step out in the corners. but then you dont get the fun slides in the looks department its definatly the mr2 vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
