Nice pic, the CGT next to the F1 and the SLR in the background looks amazing.

You can just barely catch the nose of his Ford GT as well. A lot of new toys were added to the Leno garage last year. :cool:

I've heard there will be a McLaren F1 on autorox. I can't say any more but it certainly will be interesting.

One of my friends up here at school did an internship with Jay last summer. In addition, her dad is the former head of SVT for Ford and he had a close relationship with Jay...who threw a retirement party for him a month ago in his garage. Leno has some amazing cars.

Jay Leno is, quite possibly, the only person in the world who was given a loaner CGT by Porsche while he waited for his personal one to arrive. There is speculation that this was done so that he could provide some positive PR for the car since it was not selling as well as Porsche had hoped--which he did. It is also not clear if he had to pay for his personal car.

None of the people who paid the $50,000 deposit and actually bought CGTs were offered the chance to drive the cars at Leipzig or anywhere else and none were provided loaners.

There's a ton of truth in that statement. I have a friend who's Carrera GT is shipping from the factory next month and he has been to Germany twice for the dog and pony show they have going on in Leipzig. He wasn't been able to drive the car either time he went. I was fairly surprised they don't at least set up something on a very wide piece of asphalt with no objects or barriers to run into so people can at least get a feel for the car. The passenger seat just does not offer the kind of involvement I would want before shelling out half a million dollars for a car, at least in my opinion.

Does Mclaren do test drives? The slr they allow it. He told me I'd have to put down 10k first lol. Its just the dealer's opinion I guess.

I Agree except for the sagaris (replaced witha cerebra speed 12) an the Jota looks like its made outa cardboard.

Cerbera Speed 12 is a brute but you can NOT drive it. It is really impossible to handle; even TVR itself said that.
The Sagaris is the wildest TVR ever so therefor I would buy one

50.000 + 1.500.000 + 120.000 + 70.000 + 600.000 = 2.340.000, and that is 'quite' affordable

People, while it's easy to waste time & energy on dreaming, you've got to think a little realistically. My dream garage would be no more than 4-5 cars, any more than that and you're bound to neglect.

You cant take my dream with practacalities like that! I wont let you! If nay when i build the greates collection the world has ever sceen i wont be the only one to drive them.......
