1997 Dodge Ram Front End Thumpingtjgala 01-21-2005, 09:41 PM After putting new rancho shocks and new tires on truck, I took it it for an alignment, and to check out front end. One guy put on new bushings on sway bar, and said all was ok . Next guy did alignment and changed a u-joint, and said that was all he could see nothing wrong. Now I notice (it may have been there before, but now I hear it cuz I also had some exhaust work done, and my truck is quieter) a dull clunking while city driving, sounds/feels like its coming from directly under drivers feet. Rancho says to make sure shocks are tightened to 100 ft/lbs, but I checked and all bolts are as tight as I can get em. Ant ideas? Could it be from the cold weather? BleedDodge 01-21-2005, 11:07 PM Definitely could be because of cold weather.
