Please anyone! How do you put the ECU on 92 300 ZX in the diagnostic mode? I have no idea where or how... Thanks!

You turn a screw on the side of the case 1 and 1/2 turns.

Go to Twinturbo.net and search. Also search here...

yeah, your ECU is under your passenger side kick panel...once you unbolt it there should be directions on it.

just pull the passnger side carpet back under the glove box, there should be a piece of plywood. unbolt that and that box is your ECU, its easier to unbolt the ECU and then try but its not needed. on the right side of the ECu there should be a hole with a plastic piece sticking out with a sticker above it. read the sticker and then do so with a flat head screwdriver.

Thanks to every single one of you! I did just that turned the screw, not very comfortable but doable, and it reset the ECU. No light, it works..
Thanks Again.

its not supposed to reset the ecu...there is a red light that is supposed to flash several times to give you a code or you can look at your engine light. this will tell you if everythign is reaing correctly to your ECU or you have a problem. if you search the net, there should be a list with all the codes and what each one stands for....

actually WES, if you read this, you should make a sticky out of pulling codes off of your ECU!!! and have a list of the codes and what each one is for. yeah i know, applaud later, im a genious...
