Problem with my truck is a long one... Kept getting codes for oxygen sensor and the check engine light has finally went off after i got a new one!!!!! Still my truck is running to rich i am getting 7 miles to the gallon! so thats a problem...right after i fixed the oxygen sensor problem now my truck bucks when im going down the road at a steady speed but goes away when i gas it and the tranny kicks down. I dont know what the deal is...do i need the computer adjusted or what..the motor and comptuer are brand new!! the tires are 35's so i think the computer needs to be adjusted for that.. Not sure what the bucking problem is! also my cruise has never worked and the heater blows at the windsheild but ive read that might be the tps sensor....HELP any info helps!!

Im getting codes 12 and 37!! I tried resetting the computer by taking off the neg. cable and no change...this all started way before the new tires were put on...

You can reset the computer by pulling the negative cable and holding it to the positive cable for a few seconds (some folks recommend 30).

35's may be part of the problem; did the bucking start after they were installed?

TPS might be contributing and is a common problem with that year.

Any transmission shifting issues? You might want to check the speed sensor on the rear differential, those have caused problems also.

Check this forum, there are numerous posts dealing with what I've said above.
