You are right... that is a STUPID question... sell your 240sx and all your possessions and walk there... become a transient.

sounds like you're just concerned about the swapped engine crapping out on you. the SR is just an engine, just like any other one, so unless you're throwing cat shit in the gas tank you'll be ok.

i just drove my 240 with a black top sr from south dakota to chicago...to north carolina then back to south dakota...ran great...no problems at all

I live in CA.... if u don't know shit about cars, go to signal auto (there is SoCal, torrance)
if u live far away, change the basics, fuel filter, spark plugs....i have the black top and never had anyproblms what so ever.... (mine is takn car of , oil change every month...etc)

think about it this way if it's 4000 miles round trip. have you driven the swap 4000 miles yet. you should prolly change your oil either now or in tenessee. If it doesn;t make it just get it fixed.

A compression test and a leakdown test will tell a lot. And you know if you've taken care of it.

If you've taken good care of the vehicle and haven't had any major problems before, then you should be good to go.
