ok.....on the "covers"(dont know what they're called) ive noticed some are red, black, and silver(j30).....does the cover mean anything like the year? or am i asking a dumb question haha? i was curuius because i think the people i ordered my engine from lied about the year the engine

Don't know about silver but I thought the Red ones were on TT's and the black ones were on N/A's

the black ones are my fave imo... they look sick polished up really well... like the one in the pic.. maybe silver is jdm? or a factory option or something? i dunno

the one with the red stripe is TT and the one with the black stripe is N/A....also the TT has "twin turbo" written on the upper plenum. if it came from Japan, then sometimes the previous owner painted them or something. like i painted mine metallic silver and all black....

yeah you should...paint your upper plenum black like me too..black and red. then powder coat your wheels black. :naughty: thats what i did except replace red with silver. i have gotten alot of complements...:dunno:

i was thinking Jorge, you should get bronze wheels. i think bronze on a red Z32 would looking friggin sick!!!

yeah, i was wheel shoppign last night. everything i wanted was like $600 a wheel. f*** that!!!

i think i may go with the 5zigen's FC-N01R or whatever those things are called...in 18x8.5 in the front and 18x9.5 in the rear...if i get this job i will probably get them right before spring.

buh-ling... like this car i saw on auto auctions today on speed channel.... entire engine was complete chrome... come to think of it, the only thing that wasn't sparkling was the belts... i'm sure they would have used chrome chains if it didn't have to run....

there is a point where you can go overboard, and that guy has. i'm with broke, everything will be clean, not neccesarily shiney.

it was actually cheaper than the stillen polished piece. i think it was like $600 even....i might be mistaken though. i also think it had been honed.

they were selling a bunch of things that were chrome...the upper air balance bar, fuel hard-lines, timing belt cover, power steering reseroir. light Al said, anything that didnt move they sold it chromed...pretty crazy. they also, said anything you send, they can chrome it for you. ill look for the ad later...
