yeah, i have seen that, but after i get out of college or my current engine blows (whichever comes first), i am doing the twin turbo swap.

lol, that would be cool, but just to much work compared to the twin turbo. so if i haven't said yet, right now i am going to just do suspension mods and maybe cosmetic, since i will be getting a different a vg30dett anyway.

Yeah... I really need to get coilovers ($$$$$$) or maybe just some KYB's with some good springs... a nice JDM front like Jason's would be nice too. I'm not big on body kits myself.

Sometimes I feel like just rebuilding my VG30DE and doing all the usual NA stuff... have it port/polished/deburred... run a 100 shot of nitrous. That would be cool. I might be able to give a stock TT a run for it's money!

anyways, once i get my swap, new wheels, and sideskirts (to cover up my little accident) i will be getting some suspension mods...probably just new bushings, KYB's and eibach pro kit....

I was lucky I have KYB shocks on mine from the previous owner.

And Jorge, I am staying NA, no boost here. The project begins this summer. Already begun bodgeting, and I have the stages worked out on paper what I am getting when I am getting it and what I am expecting it to do for me. My most expensive part oddly enough are the wheels and tires. I want stock aloy TT rear wheels, but 4 of them, with Dunlop 9000 tires on them. So far Dunlop has been the best all around tire I have had on the car. Brakes are the other expensive part.... The skyline conversion kit is a bit pricey, but I want to keep the stock look, to keep the crooks and haters away from my car.

Yeah... I think I'm just gonna mod my VG30DE as far as I can go without the whole 3.2 liter thing. I heard we (NA gys) can get 20-odd HP with the APEX'i SAFC II... thinking about picking that up. You might too, Hodo.

I am not sure about that one, I will take a closer look at it when I get home. It looks interesting enough. So far the first stage is the intake and exhaust (standard bolt ons.) I plan on spending about 1700 on the first stage alone. 2nd stage will run me about 3k and thats plenum, heads, valves, headers and cat. 3rd stage is mostly suspension and brakes. 4th stage is going to be driveline. Total amount on the project is around 7.5k. Well thats the budget anyway.

Your gonna get your wish. I got a N/A and I pick it up Saturday in Calexico, Calif. and it's automatic. I'm going to build it and keep it N/A and automatic and get it into the 10's bracket. Turbo's rule, well see.

Don't worry, my VG30DE is going to stay NA for some time now. I'd love the N/A sticker on my z31. Make a few z31 turbo guys look twice as I overtake them. :grinyes:

George I making a joke... I can easily make you the design, I however, lack the machines and equipment to actually print out the vinyl. My uncle does. And seeming as Im not heading to vermont anytime soon, puts me out of the loop.

I say just go to your local graphics shop and get them to design it out... Its not that expensive.

Do the same thing you'd do to the TT except use N/A pistons, cams and exhaust and instead of the turbo's use spray. Less strain on the engine.

I am simple no sprey a prey method. I am ALL MOTOR..... But I like the thinking, I might do that with a second Z later in life. But right now I cant have the temptation of a button.

Use NO2 on my car.... spreying is bad for circuit races in my veiw. If I ran quarter miles yea definately but I dont. I like turns....... ALOT!

Drifters use nitrous... they don't tend to go straight :p

you can't be a true zed owner and not like turns. personally, i love turns a lot more than just going straight. i can't wait to go to my first autocross event.
