actually i don't think its possible to adjust the height your light beams reach past 80% open.. so even if you DO have sleepy eyes and have your lights adjusted at 80%, its not even gonna look like they're much lower..
what i'd reccommend is either doing the full conversion or making a custom light which automatically adjusts to the height of your lights..
and anytime you turn your headlights on, the lights should go to 100%.. if not then there's some problem with your system..

Ah forget it that sounds like too much work (and money) for something that isnt gonna work just like I want it too. The switch will be fine for now. And funny thing is. I bought the lights yesterday and was going to install them and do the switch but its raining over here. Why funny? Cuz its So. Cal. and it never rains over here except for when I want to do something outside. Anyways just venting.

Bumping thread. Damn Cali. rain-storm wont go away long enough for me to work on car. Managed to put lights on in 10 min. when rain cleared up and I was available to put them on, so now just gotta wait when not raining and I have some time.

Yeah I couldn't afford a projector kit right now so I want to see how new halogen lights work out. Probably still gonna be bad as far as night driving goes with sleepy's but at least I know with new lights (cuz new lights are huge improvement over old lights) how it looks.

They were some "cool blue" replacement lights I picked up at Pepboys. Total was about $60.

oh ok i think i know which ones you're talking about.. their wattages are 10w higher and the bulb has a bluish purple tint?!?
anyways, those lights are bright and work very well but i see them on too many civics and accords (there's a ton of 2 door 94-97 accords with mufflers, lowering springs, sound systems and rims here..) so they seem rice-ish to me if you have them around here. but good choice of light.. they'll do the trick.

Honestly the blue tint isnt even that noticeable which is good cuz I thought that they were going to be really blue so I was kinda regretting getting those cuz they were gonna look like if I just played NFS2U and that was the look I was going for. I got them cuz they were brighter than the regular replacement bulbs and were a white instead of the the yellow light. The tint is very light to unnoticeable. Very happy with the new lights.

P.S. the regular lights woulda ran me $20 for both so "you get what you pay for" seems to hold true.
