speedometer light

Hi! If anybody can help me with this I'll be forever thankful! The speedometer of my car has a very shinny blue light and I need to know how that's produced (what kind of printing method is used on what kind of plastic, what painting is used, what kind of light goes behing the plastic, etc.)

what kind of car?
is it a indaglo light(looks like neon?)

Yes, it does look like neon actually. But itīs behind this plastic on which the ruler of the speedometer is printed...

ohh they're EL gauges, and you have to plug them in to a power source. What type of car do you have? We can look up the gauges in a matter of seconds lol :)
