17/40's during winter?ERIKbronx 03-11-2002, 03:33 PM To all you year-round 40 size tire drivers, would you go 17/40 or 17/45, or is it just not worth the risk... put back on my stock rims during winter. Comments will help alot. :monkeypis :badass: atomic-G 03-11-2002, 09:34 PM I think it's best to ride on the stock wheels during the winter and keep the 17's for warmer weather. poppy_morenito 03-12-2002, 08:40 AM Well If you live in Miami then it does not matter ..... ny93.5g20 03-12-2002, 10:02 AM I could barely drive on a flat surface w/my 17s on an inch of snow... Put snows or all weather tires on your stock rims and leave the 17's for nicer weather. ERIKbronx 03-12-2002, 05:50 PM Yea I guess your right NY93.5G20, being that you from here.
