Questions on Air Bagging a 1st Gen. B2000BadDog2000 01-16-2005, 10:08 PM Has anyone air bagged a 1st generation b2000? I am to see what part numbers/brands that were used. I am weighing the options between hydraulics and air bags. I have a set of 8" fatties and 8" skinnies already. Just need lines and a pump for the hydros. Just wanting to get some pros and cons of air bags. Keith. Duncan626 01-19-2005, 10:06 PM Has anyone air bagged a 1st generation b2000? I am to see what part numbers/brands that were used. First-gen B2000 - you're talking like pre-1986? All I know is air bags don't ride very well - real floaty (because you are basically sitting on marshmallows, after all). Hydros are better in general, but more expensive - but you probably know that already. Yep, I was wondering about the ride of bags. I have never liked that squashy ride. I wouldn't have lowered my truck if I liked riding on pillows. I just didn't want to have to mess with all the hydro fluid and batteries and charging. I am just now getting back into the truck scene since I found this mazda. I have been trying to read up on bags but haven't found the time. I "plan" on taking it back to almost new condition but also kinda a toying with the idea of shaving it clean and customizing it.
