Ok, I have a 83 944 auto (unfortunately), and I love the car to death. However, the ecu has shorted. Now since my car is an automatic, would a manual ecu do the job? Any help appreciated.

If you need the ecu for an automatic let me know I have one that I know is good since I can still drive the car in and out of the shop. contact me with the Bosch # and the Porsche #.
