stalls when accelerating..not the obviousZandrin 01-16-2005, 04:06 PM I all! Am new to the forum and appreciate any in-put...1996 Dodge Caravan...stalls when you reach about 60km/hr with sputtering...dirty gas/condensation was original diagnosis. Since then new sensor, new fuel pump, checked catalectic converter. All of the obvious. Mechanics with over 100 years combined experience have been trying to solve this issue for 21/2 days now...It's an anomaly!!! I live in Canada and was suppose to be on route to Miami this morning at 5am....any ideas?? TIA theFREAKnasty82 01-17-2005, 11:12 PM Faulty connection in your ignition switch. Everytime you turn your steering wheel or hit it a certain way can cause a connection issue with it and make the vehicle stall out; that's an option, seen that before of some cars. JBS 01-20-2005, 12:16 AM Did they check the O2 Sensor that is what happened on my Girl friends Caravan. The computer will limit the incoming gas if it is burning to lean or to rich. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
