i was looking into buying a 1993 rx-7 and i needed help. since the rx-7 is a rotary engine, i was wondering what the difference is in turbocharging it, and if there was any difference in maintenace on it, such as changing oil. a friend of mine had told me that when you change the oil on a rotary engine ur supposed to change the spark plugs to. i also heard rumor that keeping a rotary engine, especially from an rx-7 is hard to maintain and that they don't have a long life line. any help or information you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

ur friend is wrong and is a moron u dont have to change the sparkplugs at all rotoary enging last more than regular engines do they are more efficient turbocharging is the same intercooler obviously with the boost tubes just because its rotary dont boost it at 20 pounds thinking its gonna handle it ull blow ur engine

sorry to burst your bubble, but you are the moron and shouldnt post at all in this section if you dont know shit.

twinturbo rotary engines do have reliability issues, yes. but its not that bad.
the catch when moding a 3rd gen is that you gotta buy a Engine management system or any kind of engine management if you want to go further than intake catback downpipe mods.

its going for 5000 obo and it had 110 k miles think its a good deal? I thought it was because i did a kelly blue book pricing on them and they were pretty exspensive
