its supoer cold here in nebraska, i dont mind my outside windows to be frosted over, but when the inside is frosted, there is something wrong right?
i need to scrape them, im thinking of leaving a dehumidifier in it overnight for a few nights

That just means there's moisture in the car. It comes from your shoes, your breath, your head, when you open the door, the leaky trunk gasket, and the Jack In The Box cup that you forgot about in the rear cup holder.

To solve this, turn your heater on, but set the controls to circulate "fresh air" into your car. This will vent the evaporated moisture out of the car as you drive. When you set the controls to "recirculate", the evaporated moisture has no place to go, so when you turn the car off it collects on your windows and freezes.

could it have anything to do with a bad seal? in the doors or something?
would that cause frost or prevent it?

I've had the same problem this past week, only there was ice droplets as well. Having to scrape off the ice and frost sucks. Glad someone else posted this so now I know what to do. But I know my ice and frost came from leaving my window open a tiny bit. It was only open maybe a milimeter, right near the edge of the seal. Just another reason to quite smoking I guess.
