What are you meaning? blazerboy2005 01-15-2005, 01:19 PM ok forget cpc can any one help me with my gague problem blazerboy2005 01-16-2005, 12:44 PM so no one can help me at all molehole 01-16-2005, 01:06 PM When you mean 1/4 from the top do you mean the guage is all the way to the right? If it is it sounds like you have good oil pressure. If it never moves then it could be the sending unit to the guage itself. As for the temp guage temp should be somewhere around 1/4 to 1/2 way up on the guage (like 195-205 degrees) or so depending on your car. If it stays stays cold then you may need a thermostat because the car is not heating up properly. If it heats up it could be the temp sending unit. Fuel guage problem may be either the floater is stuck in the tank or the sending unit is bad. I believe the sending unit is right in front of the gas tank. BTW if none of the guages appear to be working, have you checked for blown fuses. I believe there is a fuse for the guages. Good Luck and keep us posted blazerboy2005 01-17-2005, 11:20 AM well the oil pressure gauge jumps from the 1/2 to about 3/4 going by the lines on the gauge when i give it gas is when it dose this. the temp gauge stays all the way down all the time. the gas gauge wont go all the way up when tank is full it stays at least 1/4 from the top I think it could be a ground but where are the grounds for the gauges molehole 01-17-2005, 12:10 PM When you start it up does it goes about 1/2 way or so and then jump when yo give it gas. Sounds to me like it is operating normally unless it never goes below the half mark. The gas guage probally will work with a new sending unit which is located back near the tank with some wires coming from it. Temp guage is most likely a sending unit but if you are having problems getting the car to warm up or if you dont have heat it is probably the thermostat, which is pretty simple to replace. I'm not sure where the grounds are but they may be on the back of the instrument cluster. Good luck blazerboy2005 01-17-2005, 01:47 PM the truck runs fine temp wise. and is the sending unit in the gas tank oh and by the way hater replacing my heater core the damn blower moter went out last night haw hard is it to replace i think the barings rotted out of it BlazerLT 01-17-2005, 04:19 PM Also, you might have a thermostat stuck open. zipdrive38 01-17-2005, 09:00 PM yeah it was a good score but i cant find any one that sells a brush guard for it go to www.jcwhitney.com vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
