Hi, I just got 1992 Miata a few days ago. The Original CD/Cassete player (Made by Panasonic) is not working. The cd ejects it self before it plays. It ejects a casette after a few minutes of play. The FM/AM radio works fine. Does anyone know if the one on 95-97 (made by Pionner) will work without any wiring modification on 1992? Also, does Pionner model have headerest speaker volume control? My Panasonic one does. I see several pioneer ones very cheap on ebay, but I do not see any Panasonic ones for earlier model. Maybe they are all broken. I'm not really interested in aftermarket ones because of higher risk of theft.
