automatic fluidlarko 01-11-2005, 11:45 AM This might seem a bit elementary, but before I do anything stupid, I'd like to ask a simple question. I'm getting ready to change my automatic fluid change on my 02 Pathfinder. I've done it a million times on other vehicles, but this is my first time on the Pathy. Anything I should know? Autozone, Schucks, etc, don't have any Chiltons manuals or anything for this truck, and I don't want to discover anything unexpected after I've dropped the pan and drained all the fluid. Thanks - Larry lewisnc100 01-11-2005, 11:51 AM Even easier than that, don't drop the pan since the filter is a fine metal mesh screen that never needs to be changed. No need to drop the pan since you have a drain plug, unless you are really curious how the magnet looks. larko 01-14-2005, 11:16 AM Good deal. Looks like for once I'll be able to change tranny fluid once in my life without 3/4 of it all over the floor. Thanks for the answer. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
