Revell Germany 2005 release schedule (http://www.modellversium.de/kit/artikel.php?id=176)

Great news for McLaren fans - Kimi's MP4/19B! :D
Oh yeah, there is some other cool stuff as well, but the Mac takes the cake for me.

Too bad they still insist on 1/24 F1s, while everyone else does 1/20th. Have you noticed the 5 grooves on the tires? I hope they get it right though....
Even so, we have to thank Revell for keeping releasing different models every year.

I'm particularly fond of the Z8. They say it's a cooperation...What company has/had the Z8 in 1/24th ?

Yup, that's some pretty good news, especially the ferrari, that is,
I don't know why people would actually build the MacLaren F1 tho :grinyes:

anyways, for the sake of getting your thread title right, we should also include the BMW Z1, Ferrari 612 scaglietti, Porsche 944 Turbo, and last but not least the Ford escort MK II., which are all first quarter releases.

Olivier (who can't wait)

PS Petter, the Z8 says Conversion here, as they already made a Z8 before, it's just a matter of slapping new decals on and nice rims...

check the search for veyron's which is awesomely good.

You're right Pedro, five gooves in the tyres. How could the artist screw up that bad? I hope the improvement in RAG F1 kits continues and the artwork is just an aberation. I actually like 1/24th as an F1 scale, always annoyed me that Tamiya's 1/20ths can't be directly compared to all the other rally and race cars in 1/24th.

Oli, all those other releases have already been discussed (and pale into signifigance compared to the mighty McLaren ;)). This stuff is new, at least to me. :)

Hey, I think it should be an fault in the designers's drawing, just like the rerelease of the 1997 Jordan kit, where the drawing had grooves in the tyres :screwy: .
Still, their newer F1 kits are pretty well made, but require a bit of patience. I have here the Sauber kit and I can assure you it's got four grooves in the tyres. As for the scale, I prefer 24 too, so all your models will look nice and proportionate.

PS. Phil, how will you replicate the white smoke coming out of the exhausts of that McLaren?

Where is it, it's missing from that page.

Please please please tell me they are going to re-release the Mk.2 Escort.

We don't need no stinkin F1 cars, it's just a procession nowadays anyways, Rally rules... ;)

here are the ones already on their site, including the escort (http://revell.de/cgi-bin/kat/katalog.pl?cmd=preview&KOSCHL=04&lang=de&kat=modell&page=1)

here you go, the ones that Rallyraider posted are the ones that we didn't know off, the real news, and pretty good for all I care.

Excellent, then all we need is some aftermarket decals and I will build a fleet of them.

Not necessary Oli, it's a 19B, the Spa winner!
If it was an early season 19 then yes, smoke was a common occurance. :)

This is supposed to be one of those new sound-pictures of Spa, and it does look like smoke and like a bang, can you see it, phil?

And the typical Giant monkey that lures in our Belgian woods.

 I am seriously concerned about your sanity Oli!
Too much time spent making Ferraris out of pasta when you should be building Jaguars.
