take into affect that all I have is the stock gauge, and the needle runs a bout a 1/4 past the low, right in the middle of the low and center line. Is this ok? The truck runs cery well, and I just want to make sure. Anything I can do {cheap} to increase oil pressure?

as long as it still within the normal range it should be ok, its lower than optimal. You might try some engine restore lubricant. The stuff really does work.

I have an 82 f150, just rebuilt and beefed the 351W, while cold the engine oil pressure would run at the "o" of normal. Then it would fall WAY down below the "L" when warmed up and at an idle. It did the same thing before I rebuilt the motor too. I replaced the sending unit, after I checked the pressure with a manual guage to make sure I had good pressure, and it holds steady at the "a" in normal. If you have not replaced the sending unit, I would give it a shot, it is a $12 part.
