Limited Slipcarrnut21 01-10-2005, 03:42 PM I am confused about the function of a limited slip differential. We have a 99 Miata with leather, power sterring, Bose, power everything etc, and according to Miata.net, any car with the Leather package also had the popular package. The popular package was supposed to include a limtited slip differential. When accelerating around corners(usually in second gear, 3000-5000 RPM, the inside tire will spin. It does this all the time. Maybe i am confused, but i thought the job of a limited slip was to give power to both wheels and to keep this from happening. It does the same thing my Accord does, but i know that it doesn't have a limited slip. Can someone clear this up for me. mx52nv 01-12-2005, 07:35 PM i'll answer this later....newbies miata1.6 05-01-2005, 01:30 AM What happens When you peel out in the rain? mx52nv 05-01-2005, 11:05 PM please do some research about limited slips online vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
