I have a 91 Dodge Colt Auto, it will start up and go a little bit before the it will not shift grears, like it stuck in nutral. I am hoping it a prob with the trans and not the computer - the computer was rebuilt about 6 years ago.

check the level of your fluid. If it's black, get it changed and flushed out. That could clog up the tiny orifices inside your transmission causing slippage, or delayed shifting.
