Mosi'd your exhaust yet?Schludwiller 06-19-2001, 02:22 AM Seems like I'm one of the last to do it, but I Mosi'd my exhaust pipe on the same run I did damage to my door. ChuckH 06-19-2001, 02:59 AM Um, I think you ARE the last! You know a Moab Mosi is still more prestigious! :apoke: Mobycat 06-19-2001, 05:07 AM I think Swampwrecker was the last of MAXC to mosi the tailpipe - and it's hardly noticeable...we'll have to change that...damn 33 Swampers... Matt Peckham 06-19-2001, 08:20 AM Don't know where... maybe on WAAG killer. Synchro 06-19-2001, 10:48 AM actually nope swampy does not have that honor. i finally mosi'd mine at tellico, the same weekend Schlud did his. Philosopher 06-19-2001, 10:54 AM I trimmed back the pipe :bonghitte on my truck about 6" (right before the last curve ouwards) and now it would be impossible to Mosi it. :D BTW - Peckham, that's the WAAG 'eater' not 'killer'. :) Schludwiller 06-19-2001, 12:14 PM Originally posted by Philosopher I trimmed back the pipe :bonghitte on my truck about 6" (right before the last curve ouwards) and now it would be impossible to Mosi it. :D I'm curious how much exhaust buildup you'll be getting on your body panels from that. Of course with a black truck it will be hard to notice. I remember the old Toyota trucks always had the "WD" part of their mudflaps covered with ehaust deposits. They just said "4". Mosi and I were looking at relocating the exhaust through the KMA (by having a hole cut ). Never did get that far though. Yep, I remember him talking to me about that ... for now, my idea works fine but obviously it makes it easier for me to suck water in the exhaust system ... ToeJam 06-19-2001, 03:08 PM I think we need to start handing out "Muffler by Mosi" stickers to all the winners..... Mosi 06-19-2001, 09:46 PM *sniff sniff*... you kids make me so proud... *sniff sniff* The original Mosi.... didn't even have my plates on yet :frog: http://www.pnwx.net/stuff/tailpipe.jpg rrdstarr 06-19-2001, 10:19 PM Okay I have to be like the rest of my fellow PNWXers and "Mosi" my tailpipe this weekend! So Off with the Draw-tite hitch! Another item up for sale on Ebay! Rick swampwrecker 08-27-2001, 08:40 AM Originally posted by Mobycat I think Swampwrecker was the last of MAXC to mosi the tailpipe - and it's hardly noticeable...we'll have to change that...damn 33 Swampers... I've yet to mosi my tailpipe, I think the tiny little ding in my pipe is from one of you guys that's tired of hearing me say over the CB, "I hate to say this, but I did that in 2WD." :-)~ Swampers are good, especially 33" ones. Schludwiller 08-27-2001, 09:39 AM How did you bend your license plate with that hitch on your truck? swampwrecker 08-27-2001, 11:13 AM I got the hitch after I bent up the license plate. I didn't bend the plate on an obstacle anyway, my towstrap got caught on it as I was throwing the strap on the roof. KillerX 08-27-2001, 05:26 PM You're not the only MAXC member that has yet to mosi their tail pipe. After many runs with and without MAXC, including several times through the Waag-eater, I have yet to mosi the damn thing. I've scraped it several times, but no dents yet. Maybe Nissan gave me the special reinforced titanium version of the tail pipe. :sun: gothamist 08-27-2001, 06:04 PM Synchro 08-27-2001, 07:42 PM Originally posted by KillerX You're not the only MAXC member that has yet to mosi their tail pipe. If you crimp it enough to increase the exhaust back pressure at least. Call it the Mosi Torque Pipe Mod. - Lance Toy Man 08-28-2001, 10:12 AM The exhaust pipe was melting the plastic until I put a cheater bar into the pipe and forced it down. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
