touch up paint for my Pearl white car and another question?lukeyc3 03-08-2002, 03:47 PM anyone have any ideas about where to get some touch up paint for my 1993.5? Also, does anyone know how to remove those little "rust" spots that appear on the white paint on the plstic moldings? It isn't actually rust, but little rust colored things that are all over the place? Any Ideas? 95_G20_P10 03-08-2002, 04:31 PM get touch up paint at a infiniti dealer. i got some but it sux cause its only teh base color it wont have the pearleffect to it so i hope ur not touching up big big spots. i belive the paint code is QNO. for the "rust looking" spots try to wax and buff ur car with a buffer that may help. i know it helped my mothers 2000 G20 with some white spots she had. nmb1022 03-08-2002, 05:37 PM In Europe we have something called Slipol and Slipoline. It removes dead paint and miscolored spots and it works great. I used it on my old red Nissan Sunny and it shined like the sun when i sold it!! Mike.Com 03-08-2002, 07:34 PM For that rust colored dirt, I reccomend Meguiars Cleaner Wax. It does a good job without too much effort. Good product in general. :D lukeyc3 03-08-2002, 11:18 PM is there anything else? Should I get a power buffer? 95_G20_P10 03-09-2002, 02:29 AM well i have a power buffer and thats what i used. you can try that but if that dont work then its prob gonna be a preminant stain. maybe you can try a body shop im sure they have my tricks they use. ny93.5g20 03-10-2002, 06:13 PM So WTF?! So if I want to repaint my car (same white), cause I'm getting rust along the bottoms/corners of the doors, does that mean I have to repaint the WHOLE car cause I would have to match the pearl? 95_G20_P10 03-10-2002, 06:48 PM well u prob could have a body shop make u some touch up paint with the pearl effect in it. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
