Mounting Sirius Car Kit in 2002 Cavaliercwagner118 01-06-2005, 09:00 PM Hello All, I am new here, obviously, and got a Sirius plug-n-play unit for my 2002 cavalier. I got the Mobile Dock and had Circuit City install it, probably a waste of money but it was part of the gift. They talked about screwing it in the dash, it is placed just above the 2 middle vents on the dashboard and I didnt like the idea so they just used the sticky pad deal that has fallen off already. So now I am looking for ideas on how to mount this thing in the same area circled below. http://www.warfareinc.com/temp/cavdash.jpg Then the mount I have is the part circled in red and the part circled in blue is attached to it. http://www.warfareinc.com/temp/mount.jpg Classicrocjunkie 01-06-2005, 11:35 PM http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/1/web/493000-493999/493640_10_full.jpg Look where my deck is installed. Yes i know your hvac unit is there on your car, but right below that there is a rather large open area above the cluttler collection area. Like where my face plate case is being stored in the pic. I would mount the base to the under side of that. Kind of like how they mount stereos in kitchesn under the cabinets and have it face out towards you. cwagner118 01-07-2005, 04:28 AM Ahh yea thatd be a good spot in your car, unfortunately mine is arragned a little different and it doesnt fit down there well. I'll get a pic of my actual car and post it up. Thanks for the reply vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
