View Full Version : need to rent a hummer for one night need to rent a hummer for one night jbutt 01-06-2005, 03:56 PM I am a graduate student at USC putting together an exhibition as part of my studies as a sculptor. The show is themed around American iconography. I would like to showcase a Hummer along with my own custom crafted sculptures. The idea is to have the show illuminated by the headlights of the Hummer. I have inquired about renting a Hummer through luxury car rental services and found the daily rate to be prohibitively expensive for my student’s budget. I am looking for anyone living in and around the Los Angeles area that would be interested in loaning, or renting for a nominal sum, their Hummer for an evening. The vehicle would not be driven. It would be showcased in a gallery setting, idling with the exhaust vented, lights on. The event is on Thursday, January 20th. From 6:00 – 10:00pm. If you would be interested in participating in this event, please contact me via email at jbutt@usc.edu Many thanks, Jonathan Butt greendayhbt26 01-10-2005, 12:24 AM GM allows you to testdrive their vehicles overnight, just pretend your intrested and wana give it a try Andydg 01-11-2005, 10:39 PM I bet there's a slim to none chance they'll let someone take home a $100,000+ vehicle home over night. OverBoardProject 05-12-2005, 03:19 AM Why not ask your local GM dealer, It's free advertising for them. They might not give you the keys, and they might also want a sign on display, but I'm sure that you can live with that goinbig 05-12-2005, 06:21 PM I think this is a little outdated. If the event was January 20th...I'd bet money it's over by now!
