I really need help finding a turbo for my del sol D16 vtech that will not blow my engine please help any one. Thanks.

How much power do you want to make? What is the car being built for (street, track)? What has been done to the engine have the internals been upgraded or do you plan on upgrading them in the future? How much money do you want to spend? What fuel management are you going to use? What parts for the system do you have now? There are a lot of questions you need to answer before anyone can help you pick a turbo.

well it is fir street i have done nothing to it its all stock and i want to spend less than 3000. i want a kit not just a turbo

Honestly, just about any turbo will produce enough boost to blow a stock motor. It truly doesn't matter which turbo you go with, it just needs to be controlled and produce a preset amount of boost that you want to use. The size of the turbo will determine how fast it spools and how much boost it's good for.

As for your budget, you can build one hell of a custom setup with $3k - that would probably cover EVERYTHING except driveline upgrades that would be required (clutch). If you're looking for a true bolt-on solution, Edelbrock makes a kit that has all the goodies, but will run you right around $3k unless you buy it used. Greddy also makes a decent kit and you can add their extras to make some decent power and be able to tune your setup like a pro.

It's all dependent on your experience level and what type of work you want to do to achieve a complete setup.

If you're going to do it, do it the right way. Pull the motor and rebuild it with higher quality rods, crank, valve springs, valves, retainers and all the other stuff that would probably break if left unchanged. If you turbo a decent amount of boost and blow the engine, you'd be worse off than if you rebuilt the engine and then turboed it.
