'92 Silverado, Cruise-Controlstevepod 01-05-2005, 10:02 PM I am having a problem with my Chevy Silverado ('92) cruise control. It engages fine, but doesn't want to shut-off when you use the brake. I have had it to the dealer twice and they say that they have made an adjustment and it will work for a week and then start acting up again. Has anyone else had a similar problem and what did you do to fix it. Thanks for your help! Thunderbolt 01-06-2005, 03:59 PM I am having a problem with my Chevy Silverado ('92) cruise control. If not that may be a good place to start. stevepod 01-14-2005, 10:17 AM I had the brake switch replaced yesterday and it seems to have done the trick. I guess that I should have tried replacing it myself, because the dealer charged me $72.00 in labor and only $10.72 for the switch. Thanks for your help! I think that your advice was right on target!
