Finished: Tamiya Toyota Supramach1_2003 01-04-2005, 03:34 PM This is the first model for me in the year 2005 (started in 2004 of course). It's the Tamiya Supra, built out of the box except for the twin 5 spokes wheels, which are the extra set that comes in the Tamiya S2000, I thought the color of those wheels would suit this car. The color is Duplicolor Toyota Medium Red Metallic and the interior is Testors African Mustard. The car could have used lowereing but I wanted to build a pretty much stock version. Note: In real life, Mugen wheels belong on Hondas. But it doesn't look too bad on that Toyota either  itrgtr 01-04-2005, 04:16 PM wow, the paint looks perfect! wingless looks good too robrex 01-04-2005, 04:19 PM Very nice! Great work! tonioseven 01-04-2005, 04:42 PM The cleanliness is sexy!!:sunglasse ZoomZoomMX-5 01-04-2005, 04:50 PM Sweet. The color and wheels are great, as is the lack of a wing or a need to make it sit in the weeds. :sunglasse bigfrit 01-04-2005, 05:02 PM perfect supra, I like it, it's shiny, clean, s got nice rims, and well detailed... I especially like the rear lights, done anything special about it, dunno just catches my eye! Oli Feint Motion 01-04-2005, 05:50 PM Excellent shine. Nice m5's. Love the Tire shine as well. GTmike400 01-04-2005, 05:51 PM Great build Eric. What happened to the purplish one at Waynes? Veyron 01-04-2005, 06:19 PM Looks fantastic! Jurva 01-04-2005, 06:23 PM No need for lowering also. Keep it wingless :) CADguy 01-04-2005, 06:41 PM Awesome Supra! You're off to a good start in '05. :) ImolaEK 01-04-2005, 06:58 PM very clean build my friend. Note: In real life, Mugen wheels belong on Hondas. But it doesn't look too bad on that Toyota either  :iagree: IMO, it doesn't even need a lowering...If your going for the "stock" look. Great model! ol' dude 01-04-2005, 07:12 PM Looks awesome and shiny!! Great work Eric!!!!!! mach1_2003 01-04-2005, 07:18 PM Thanks everyone!!! Good thing about Tamiya wheels, they're pretty easy to switch from one kit to another... lol Who know's what might happen when I build the Honda S2000 Mike: The purplish color looked more and more brown the longer I looked at it so I stripped it off and started over. The F40 is still black though and will be complete in a week or so. Thanks again..... nis.k.a. 01-04-2005, 07:45 PM Very nice paint. Good build my friend. Porsche Carrera 01-04-2005, 08:34 PM very nice mugen supra! the paint is just flawless and i like the red and tan combo. tc3house 01-04-2005, 08:45 PM Awesome glossy paint, love the color! I'm not a fan of Mugen rims on a Toyota, and I think it would really look good if you painted the wheel nuts IMO. mach1_2003 01-04-2005, 08:49 PM perfect supra, I like it, it's shiny, clean, s got nice rims, and well detailed... I especially like the rear lights, done anything special about it, dunno just catches my eye! Oli Nope, nothing special with the lights... just followed the kit instructions. Wow... I guess it's not good to put Honda wheels on a Toyota regardless of whether it looks good or not.... just kidding... The lugs are painted silver but they don't show up in the pic's very well. Thanks for all the compliments.... it's very much appreciated!! chaos 01-04-2005, 09:05 PM Nice and clean! SupaMan89T 01-04-2005, 09:44 PM if you were the owner of that supra in real life i would pimp slap you rick james style for putting mugens on a supra but i must say they do look pretty good on it! :) Jay! 01-04-2005, 10:15 PM Boo-freakin'-hoo. If the wheels fit, wear 'em! (I'll say it in 1/1 scale, too!) And they fit, IMO! :D (Though on a Supra, those luscious wheel arches could stand for another scale inch in diameter... :2cents: ) Great work!! vx_supercharged 01-05-2005, 07:51 AM The rims look good and fit in well with the paint Good job mike united 01-05-2005, 07:56 AM Very COOL.........!!! Mike  primera man 01-05-2005, 08:21 AM Nice tidy looking build Wheelin75r 01-05-2005, 08:51 AM Nice colorcombo! Wheels look good, even if those are Honda-rims. Hiroboy 01-05-2005, 06:01 PM Very tidy build, I love the colour combinations.:bigthumb: It would be nice to see some PE brake discs, but that is the only thing. Wheels are not a problem to me :) MidMazar 01-05-2005, 09:16 PM nice build, mmmmm shiny mach1_2003 01-05-2005, 10:42 PM Thanks again for all the compliments.... WeaPoN [X] 01-05-2005, 10:49 PM Sorry to sound like a broken record but I also do not agree with the rim choice, but great model either way. Very clean! Very well done. JeFF boostspike 01-06-2005, 04:30 PM very nice and clean..... i even like the wheels... but a Supra deserves deep dish wheels, the deeper the better :grinyes: vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
