I want a new miata!!!!imissmymiata 01-03-2005, 10:14 PM Okay here's my deal: About a month back i bought a bone stock 92' miata (power nothing, just the way i like it). I had some radical moments in it in the short 2 weeks i owned it; i accidently launched it over a small cliff taking some turns a little too fast (i was pulled from the mud by AAA and drove home ...THAT'S RIGHT!!! DROVE HOME!) nothing was affected. After that incident, i spun out trying to make a yellow light on a turn. It was after the spin out i decided to start taking baby steps to learning my vehicles limits...yeah i'm a slow learner, so what!? Anyways...about a week later, right about the time i was just starting to get a real bond with my car, some uninsured bitch hit me from behind at a red light. My car is now totalled and i have to go back to my 280zx, which is absolutely beat to shit! I recieved some financial compensation from my wreck and now i am in the market for a new old miata. Because my budget is kinda low it has been tough. Here are my requirements: -Mazda Miata -1990-1993 -no power steering -no cruise control -no AC -between 97,000-125,000 miles -a caring owner (for God Sakes no lemons) -Very little mods -must pass smog -no dents, little scratches are acceptable -no leaks in the convertable (hardtop, if possible) -CD player would be awesome! -Absolutely must be a 5-speed manual transmission -And must have a Clean title IF ANYONE KNOWS WHERE I CAN FIND THIS VEHICLE FOR A REASONABLE PRICE IT WOULD MAKE MY LIFE, I HAVE SEARCHED ALL OVER AND STILL HAVEN'T FOUND WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR!!! Contact me on AIM: OnePlainAxiom mx52nv 01-06-2005, 04:34 PM I would offer some tips, but you don't even deserve a Miata. Go get a rustang. imissmymiata 01-06-2005, 11:43 PM Oh hell no! FstFrd00 04-07-2005, 12:43 AM LMAO turbo miata vs. stock 3.8 or 4.6 uuuummmmm not even a fair race mx52nv 04-07-2005, 04:47 PM LMAO turbo miata vs. stock 3.8 or 4.6 uuuummmmm not even a fair race I never said a 3.8 OR 4.6, I said a Cobra. I don't waste gas on 3.8's or GT's you idiot. Learn to read. FstFrd00 04-10-2005, 11:45 PM LMAO, you really think a 14sec drop top cobra can touch a turbo Miata? unless you are going to fork out $35k for one of the newer Scharged models, you don't have a prayer. damn wannabees.... All cobra's are s/c 4.6s dumbass mx52nv 04-12-2005, 12:08 AM All cobra's are s/c 4.6s dumbass Actually you fuggin idiot, the Cobra wasn't scharged until 2003. So, from 1995-2002 the Cobra was normally aspirated. That makes for a lot of Cobras thet WERE NOT SUPERCHARGED. And on top of that, the first year of the Cobra had a 4.9, not a damn 4.6. Therefore, your above comment shows ignorance and lack of automotive knowledge. Now, if you meant to say "all new Cobras are Scharged 4.6's", you would be correct. But that's not what you said, so you ended up looking like a damn idiot. If you plan on buying one, please educate your sorry ass on the car you plan to buy. Have a nice day. mx52nv 04-14-2005, 02:16 PM what, no reply because you got put in your place?? mx52nv 04-25-2005, 03:26 AM Seems as though someone pussed out....
