Well, my winter beater has failed emissions three times now and I'm almost 95% positive I need a new catalytic converter. The failures were caused by NO2 and Hydrocarbon levels.

My 90 Camry is 2WD and four cylinders. Which catalytic converter do I need? Where is the cheapest place to buy one? Thanks.

What else had you done? Did you clean up the EGR system?

Naw, your CAT is the problem, you are most correct. I went local to get it, it cost about $200. The difference it almost 100% effective in controlling pollution. Not just 50% of your hydrocarbons and NO2 are burnt, but 99.9% of the NO2 and like 95% of your hydrocarbons. You'll see...

Anyone have the Walker #15026 Catalytic Convert? That's what Autozone had in stock. What are some of the modifications that may have to be done? Thanks

Don't buy a universal. You need a direct fit here, because it bolt directly to the exhaust manifold. Call around to better parts stores.
