Hello Guys,

I am currently looking into rebuilding my GSR. I will be getting it resleeved and I am looking at which pistons and rods to go with. For pistions I was looking at the 9.0:1 from JE Pistions or CP Pistions. For rods I was looking into the Eagle or Crower. I wanted to know what would be the best combination. Thanks for the advice.

Either combo would be fine. From personal experience, a local guy ran 28 pounds of boost with a JE/Crower combo.

Well it really depends on what octane you'll be using. I'm pretty sure your piston/rod combo will not be the limiting factor. It will be your octane. If you're going to be running pump gas (like 91) you won't be able to run enough psi to even get near the max power your pistons/rods are able to handle

depends on how much power you want. 400hp and lower eagle is good. up to 600 crower. higher then 600 pauter.

for pistons, cp is teh best.

My hp goal is 500hp, so it would be best to go with Crower rods cp pistons.

crower rods would work in your application, you still could go pauter if you want the added safety
