A friend just purchased a 99 Escort sport for his daughter but doesn't know the horsepower of the engine or who made this engine. How close can we come to getting this info for him?

The 2.0 SOHC (Split Port) engine is made by FORD and is rated at 110 hp. And it is very reliable.
